After Rabbi Hillel Baron graduated from the Central Rabbinical College in Brooklyn he was sent by the Lubavitcher Rebbe together with his wife Chanie to establish a center for jewish education in Columbia MD. He serves today as the rabbi of Congregation Ahavas Israel and the jewish community chaplain as well as the director of the Lubavitch Center for Jewish Education.
